Had to do an illustration based off 3 random words.  My words were: concession, klondike(which is a river in the Yukon also, not just the bar!), and barracks. This is what i came up with.  I like the simplicity of it and had a lot of fun drawing and painting it and I defintely feel like i'm starting to bring  more of my sketchbook work into my "finished" images.  However I feel it's a little too close to Mr. Weber for comfort.  That is something i'm struggling with but I try not to dwell on it too much and believe it will eventually work itself out.  Also for anyone interested here's a good article that one of my IA teachers aka Sterling Hundley wrote about the subject. Hello, my name is Dadu and i'm currently a senior at Rhode Island School of Design.  I'm glad to be here and be part of this community. Happy to see some familar faces on here but excited to see all the new ones as well! Anyways, here's a small experiment I did for fun the other night when I probably should have been sleeping.
